Name: Sydney (Mark III) Sloane
Rank: Lieutenant Commander
Department: Security

Commander Sydney Sloane, Head Engineer and Posatronic Specialist at Starbase 24, has been working with a team of engineers to create an android comparable to a Soong-type model. Using the specifications on file for Data, Lore, and B4, Sloane has successfully created an android with a faster pasatronic brain, emotion chip, command antenna (used for accessing computer terminals and starship main computers within a distance of 32 Kilometers, The full specifications are included below. The first prototype Sloane built never powered up. The second was functioning for two days before experiencing a full shut down of the posatronic brain. Building began on a third unit shortly after. Eighteen months later, another prototype was finished. So far, the Mark III is in perfect running order after being powered for two weeks. The prototype was modeled after its creator and named accordingly. Sloane has requested that the Sydney Mark III be transferred to a Starfleet vessel to see her operate in full function. All tests have show that the Sydney Android is working just as well as all had hoped. It is requested that Sydney Mark III have access to the ships computer to download all data (for added efficiency) and allowed on all away missions. It is also requested that she be allowed a bridge station to interact with ship functions. However, it is also understood that this may not be possible at all times.

Personnel File Update

Due to her proven asset to Project Infinite and Starfleet, Command has granted her the rank of Lieutenant Commander.

It is concealed, allowing added security and stealth on away missions should the team become disarmed. Other added weight is due to the specialized strength mechanizims.
